What do we know about cephalopods housing?

The conference was a joint meeting of the ‘Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International’ (AAALAC International), the ‘European Society of Laboratory Animal Veterinarians’ (ESLAV) and the European College of Laboratory Animal Medicine (ECLAM). More than 200 professionals from Europe, North America and Asia joint the meeting.

The two posters presented by CephsInAction were the only presentations on cephalopods, nevertheless they got the interest of Norecopa, Dr Massimialino Bardotti (ESLAV Secretary) and Prof D. Anderson (Technical Advisor, DG Environment, European Commission). Prof Anderson, moreover, during his presentation on Directive 63/2010/EU implementation, highlighted cephalopods regulations as one of most important and challending aspects of Directive implementation.
